Shruti Choudhry is an Indian politician from Indian National Congress. Progeny of political stalwarts, Shruti Choudhry is the daughter of Surender Singh and Kiran Choudhry, who served as Ministers of Haryana and granddaughter of former CM Bansi Lal. She contested and won the 15th Lok Sabha elections from the Bhiwani-Mahendragarh constituency. She served as a member of the Lok Sabha committees for agriculture and empowerment of women from 2009. Her paternal grandfather was the former Chief Minister of Haryana, Bansi Lal and her family is among the major Political families of Haryana.

Choudhry turned to politics following the death of her father in 2005. She contested and won from the same constituency that her grandfather had done so three times and her father twice. She failed to retain the seat in the 2014 elections.
In 2009, She was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha Bhiwani-Mahendragarh constituency where she defeated Ajay Singh Chautala of the Indian National Lok Dal, by a margin of 55,097 votes. And, in the same year, she became a  Member of the Committee on Agriculture and Member, Committee on Empowerment of Women
