Samir Banerjee Bio

Samir Banerjee is an Indian-born-American Tennis Player. He has won the 2021 Wimbledon Championships – Boys’ Singles title. Samir has been playing tennis since childhood from the age of 6. He is ranked 19 by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior Ranking on 3rd May 2021. He was last seen in Delhi playing a junior event in 2019. Throughout his career, Samir has an overall victory of 81% with 62 victories and 15 defeats.

Despite starting late in his career, Samir has a record of 10 final appearances in 16 ITF Junior Championships. He has also spent his days practicing at the Waske Academy in Germany alongside India’s No. 1 Champion Prajnesh Gunnerswaran and World Military Games Medallist Sriram Balaji.

Samir’s parents being enthusiastic about his sports career, which has been a huge support for him. There is a wide future waiting for Samir in the panel of success on the Tennis ground.
