As the festive season of Navaratri has begun, many are using different ways or portraying power and strength in different forms on earth. Where the story of a pandal in Kolkata portraying migrant labourer woman as a goddess is going viral, another picture of doctors displaying the power of the goddess has also gone viral on social media.
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, it is the doctors who have worked round the clock to fight the deadly virus. A photo of a lady doctor in Durga Maa’s avatar is being widely circulated across social media platforms.
In the photo, the ‘ten arms’ of the doctor can be seen holding medical equipment to portray the ten arms of Maa Durga protecting her devotees from all directions.
The picture is a testament to what it would be like to be in the incarnation of Maa Durga in the times of coronavirus.
It has gone viral on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp. Netizens are thanking the doctors for their risking their lives to fight the pandemic from front lines.
One user said, “This is the best #Navratri wish.” Another wrote, “God bless all Dr around the world it’s been v v v v hard on them n all hospital workers my salute to them big time.” A third user said, “Doctors bhagwaan ka roop hain.”
Meanwhile, a pandaal in Kolkata has installed an idol of a migrant worker who is also a mother. Clad in a saree, the mother is be seen walking with a shirtless toddler in her arms.
