Liquor Shops open in various States in India with Special Pooja

After 40 days, liquor shops have opened in  Karnataka, Delhi and Maharashtra.  Besides liquor, the Centre has allowed tobacco shops to resume operations in all districts as the new rules of Lockdown 3.0 stand applicable from today. The order to reopen liquor shops is applicable to only standalone shops and malls or shopping complexes will continue to remain closed. The government has also asked shopkeepers to ensure that customers maintain a two-metre distance.

Special poojas were held in the morning in front of some state-owned liquor shops in Hassan district in Karnataka. It is said that the pooja was conducted to prevent the Central Government from closing the shops again.
