Gangster Vikas Dubey, the main accused in killing of eight cops in Kanpur, has been arrested from near the Mahakal temple in Ujjain, according to Uttar Pradesh government sources. The dread gangster is the main accused in the killing of eight policemen in Kanpur’s Bikru village under the jurisdiction of Chaubepur Police Station in Uttar Pradesh. A police team had gone to arrest Dubey, who has over 60 cases registered against him, when the gangster and his accomplices opened fire at it from roof tops in the early hours of Friday last week.
Dubey, was on the run since last Thursday when he and his men ambushed a police party and killed 8 cops. His closest aide Aman Dubey was killed in an encounter with cops on Wednesday.
