Nayanthara opens up on her past relationships

Nayanthara has achieved the Superstar tag after 17 years of commitment, hard work and dedication in the Southern film industry. Considered as one among the few actors who can carry the entire film on their shoulders, Nayan’s trademark quality is to extract massive footfalls into the theatre without depending on a bankable male lead. Be it a period drama or a suspense-thriller or a romantic comedy, the gorgeous gal has proved her mettle time and time again. During a recent interaction with a leading daily, Nayanthara opened up about her past relationships and revealed why she parted ways with men she was once romantically involved with. The ‘Darbar’ actress said “Love doesn’t exist where there is no trust. I ended my past relationships when I realised that it was better to live alone than with someone who she could not be trusted.”

Admitting that it wasn’t easy to cope up with a break up, the ravishing beauty mentioned that her professional life and fans helped her big-time to surpass the hard period.
The love life of the 35-year-old actress has always been amid the headlines. During the initial phase of her career, the ‘Bigil’ actress was rumoured to be dating Kollywood actor Simbu and though the affair lasted for a few months, it garnered huge attention among media circles.
After being in a relationship with Prabhu Deva for close to four years, Nayanthara parted ways with the choreographer-turned-director. Finally, after two failed relationships, she has eventually found her true love in the form of Vignesh Shivan. What began as a director-heroine association for ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ gradually turned into a thick friendship and within no time, cupid’s arrow struck them.

At present, Nayanthara and Vignesh are one of the most famous couples in South India. Thanks to their cosy pictures and cute PDA on social media, they manage to stay in the limelight most often than not. Both of them frequently travel to foreign countries and spend some quality time in exotic locales.
