Apurvi-Chandela Bio

Apurvi Chandela is a professional Indian Sports shooter who represents India in the 10m air rifle event. She has bagged as many as 7 medals in events like the World Cup, Commonwealth Games, and Asian Games. Apurvi has won the gold medal in the 2012 National Shooting Championships in New Delhi. In the year 2014, she bagged four medals at the Intershoot Championships in New Delhi following by a gold medal in the Final Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. In 2016, she qualified for the Rio Olympics after claiming bronze in the Changwon World Cup. Unfortunately, she couldn’t get a medal there. She joined hands with Ravi Kumar for the 10m air rifle mixed team event and won a bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Games. She also boasts of a gold medal in women’s 10m air rifle at the ISSF World Cup 2019.
